WHS Manager – High Rise Construction Site

About the role

We are seeking a proactive WHS Manager to embed safety into the day‑to‑day operations of a $100m high‑rise construction project. You will work on‑site, leading safety walks, toolbox talks and problem‑solving to keep the site safe and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain WHS standards across a live high‑rise construction site.
• Conduct regular site walks, inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Collaborate with supervisors, trades and subcontractors to identify and mitigate risks early.
• Support toolbox talks, inductions and ongoing safety communications.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Keep safety documentation accurate, current and useful for the site team.

Required profile

• Proven WHS experience in commercial construction, preferably on multi‑level or high‑rise projects.
• Relevant WHS qualifications.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety, trades sequencing and subcontractor management.
• Confident communicator with site teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
