Wheel Builder / Assembler (JTR) – Cleveland

About the role

A full-time wheel builder/assembler position is available in Cleveland, Queensland, within AMX, JTR and McLeod Accessories, a division of GPC Asia Pacific. The role suits someone interested in dirt bikes and motorbikes who enjoys building, repairing and restoring bike wheels. Experience is preferred but training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Build and assemble new wheels
• Repair and restore wheels
• True wheels
• Remove and refit tyres on rims
• Complete and update wheel building data sheets
• Maintain a safe working environment

Required profile

• An interest in bicycles and/or motorbikes
• Understanding of bike parts or some relevant experience
• Honest, reliable and punctual
• Self-motivated and hardworking
• Willingness to learn, with on-the-job training provided
• Available Monday to Friday

Required skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritise workflow to meet deadlines accurately
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
