Wellbeing Coach - Common Ground Early Intervention

About the role

Wellways is recruiting Wellbeing Coaches for its Common Ground program, a new early intervention mental health and wellbeing service for South Eastern NSW. The program delivers low-intensity, person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed support to CALD communities, children aged 5-12 and their families, bringing wellbeing support into community and nature-based settings. There are two positions: one full-time and one part-time (0.8), fixed term until 30 June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accessible early intervention mental health and wellbeing support to CALD communities, children and families across South Eastern NSW.
• Run nature-based wellbeing groups and provide individual wellbeing coaching using evidence-informed strategies.
• Help people build resilience, strengthen social connections and connect with local community, health and social supports.
• Work alongside community organisations to create inclusive pathways to wellbeing.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience.
• Current valid driver's licence and ability to travel for the role.
• Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Right to work in Australia and a satisfactory National Police Record Check (within the last 12 months).
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate.

What we offer

• Pay of $46.70 - $50.25 per hour, paid above award, plus leave loading, super and salary packaging.
• Salary packaging up to $15,899 and meal and entertainment allowance up to $2,650 per year.
• 17.5% leave loading, paid parental leave after 12 months, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.
