Waste Collection Driver

About the role
Veolia Environmental Services is looking for a driver to collect and transport various waste types from client sites across Northwest Tasmania. The work involves operating heavy rigid vehicles and the company's latest equipment around local municipalities, in a close-knit, motivated team. This is a permanent full-time role based in Spreyton with early starts, typically between 5am and 6am.
Key responsibilities
- Drive to various client sites
- Collect waste and recyclables
- Dispose of waste at local disposal sites
Required profile
- Previous experience in a driving position
- A valid HR licence is desirable; an MR licence is essential
- Experience in the waste industry is desirable
- Integrity and a positive attitude
Required skills
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
