Washline Operator

About the role

The Washline Operator is responsible for safely running and maintaining the wash line that processes plastic waste into clean flakes. The role supports material handling across the site and ensures continuous, high‑quality production in a fast‑paced recycling environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wash line and related production equipment to achieve safe, efficient, and quality‑focused processing.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, basic maintenance, and quality checks to minimise downtime.
• Load, unload, store, and transport raw materials and finished products using forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records and report any operational or equipment issues.
• Uphold high housekeeping standards and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing, processing, warehouse or industrial settings.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Demonstrated experience operating processing equipment or forklifts in a production environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
