Warehouse Storeperson

About the role

Service Stream is looking for a Warehouse Storeperson for its Welshpool, Perth warehouse. The role supports the efficient operation of the warehouse and logistics functions, covering receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching while keeping inventory records accurate and the workplace clean and safe. It is a full-time permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and process incoming goods and materials
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch accurately
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycle counts
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance (where licensed)
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organised and compliant with safety standards
• Manage documentation such as delivery dockets, manifests and inventory records
• Support inventory control, stock rotation, storage optimisation and stock takes
• Liaise with internal teams, drivers and suppliers on deliveries and dispatch
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Forklift driving experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or storeperson role
• High reach experience
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, dispatch and stock control
• Ability to safely lift, move and handle materials
• Attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WHS standards

Required skills

• Forklift licence (LF/LO) preferred but not essential
• Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems)
• Relevant certificates in warehousing or logistics preferred but not required
