Warehouse Financial Controller – Victoria

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Site (Warehouse) Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and performance management for three warehouse sites in New South Wales. The role bridges operations and finance, ensuring accurate P&L, profitability, and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the delivery organisation in managing operational risks and protecting revenue.
• Monitor and drive actions to ensure accurate gross profit at country, entity, product and customer levels.
• Review profitability controls, identify root causes of inefficiencies and implement mitigation plans.
• Validate revenue billed and accrued versus estimates and investigate anomalies.
• Assess the effectiveness of new platforms or process roll‑outs and recommend improvements.
• Support customer implementations to ensure compliance with corporate governance, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate qualification in Accounting or professional CA/CPA designation.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a finance analyst or similar role.
• Experience in logistics or warehousing is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management, attention to detail and ability to translate operational data into financial insight.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Performance‑management tools such as PowerBI.
• Experience with SAP.
• Automation tools like PowerQuery.
