About the role
Maersk is seeking a Site (Warehouse) Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and performance management for three warehouse sites in New South Wales. The role bridges operations and finance, ensuring accurate P&L, profitability, and risk mitigation.
Key responsibilities
- Guide the delivery organisation in managing operational risks and protecting revenue.
- Monitor and drive actions to ensure accurate gross profit at country, entity, product and customer levels.
- Review profitability controls, identify root causes of inefficiencies and implement mitigation plans.
- Validate revenue billed and accrued versus estimates and investigate anomalies.
- Assess the effectiveness of new platforms or process roll‑outs and recommend improvements.
- Support customer implementations to ensure compliance with corporate governance, policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Graduate qualification in Accounting or professional CA/CPA designation.
- 2‑5 years of experience in a finance analyst or similar role.
- Experience in logistics or warehousing is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management, attention to detail and ability to translate operational data into financial insight.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel.
- Performance‑management tools such as PowerBI.
- Experience with SAP.
- Automation tools like PowerQuery.
