Warehouse Assistant – Pick, Pack and Dispatch

About the role

A recruiter on behalf of a local company on the Central Coast is hiring a Warehouse Assistant for a fixed-term assignment running through until February. The role is hands-on, covering receiving, picking, packing and dispatching of products and equipment. The advertised location is Palmdale, New South Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately using pick slips and scanning devices
• Stage outgoing shipments, label freight and help prepare dispatch
• Check inbound goods against documentation, report discrepancies and store stock safely
• Assist with stock counts, locate products and keep simple records of completed work
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and follow standard safety procedures ("Take 5s")

Required profile

• Full-time commitment through to February; immediate start through the summer season
• Experience in a warehouse or storeperson role is highly desired
• Physically fit, comfortable with manual handling and able to work on your feet
• Strong work ethic, good time management and attention to detail
• Commitment to safe working habits

Required skills

• General warehousing, pick-and-pack and stock handling
• Forklift operation
