VP Business Manager – IBCM

About the role

The Business Management Manager leads the Business Management function for a specific sub‑unit within IBCM, overseeing strategic planning, financial control, and operational services. You will partner with senior stakeholders across Deutsche Bank and external regulators to drive performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Front Office on business management and control matters.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including 2nd and 3rd line functions.
• Lead change initiatives, coordinate teams, track progress and escalate issues.
• Manage expense and cost controls, including travel, gifts, market data, and deal‑related expenses.
• Produce senior‑management reporting and update operating policies and procedures.
• Deliver remediation activities for APAC audit findings and drive control enhancements and automation.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably at a top‑tier investment bank.
• Strong analytical, financial and economic background.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Proven track record of challenging processes and delivering change.
• Ability to present complex information clearly and professionally.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Advanced PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and workflow.
