Visual Merchandising & Design Coordinator

About the role

Benefit Cosmetics is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Visual Merchandising & Design Coordinator to elevate the brand’s in‑store presence across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Senior Visual Merchandising Manager, you will translate commercial marketing strategies into compelling retail experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate all campaign elements, including lightbox visuals, tester units, and traffic‑stopping tools.
• Manage artwork design, briefing, quoting, sampling, prototypes, and oversee distribution and installation.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure campaigns meet timelines and budgets.
• Adapt planograms for various store formats and support budget management, invoicing, and purchase orders.
• Create 360° trade briefs for retailers (e.g., Myer, Sephora NZ, Travel Retail) and communicate trade marketing activities.
• Support in‑store and remote campaign set‑ups, gather store feedback, and manage monthly tester orders.
• Localise and adapt artwork across POS, fixtures, and digital assets; design print collateral and bespoke treatments.
• Produce animations, motion graphics, and EDMs while ensuring brand consistency.
• Handle multiple design projects simultaneously, prepare final files for print and digital, and maintain a design asset library.

Required profile

• Strong retail experience combined with creative design expertise.
• Proven project‑management capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Passion for the beauty industry and a keen eye for visual trends.
