Visual Designer – Practice Areas

About the role

LEAP is seeking a mid‑weight Visual Designer to own the look and feel of its Practice Area of Law verticals in Australia. Working in a hybrid model from Sydney, you will collaborate with the AU marketing team, product, web and global marketing functions to create fresh, client‑first designs.

Key responsibilities

• Shape visual identity for each Practice Area, developing logos, colour palettes, imagery and visual language that align with the LEAP master brand.
• Translate complex software concepts into high‑impact graphics, illustrations, landing pages, campaigns, brochures and event assets.
• Partner with the Marketing Manager – Practice Areas to turn positioning and messaging into clear, effective visuals.
• Experiment with AI‑driven design tools and emerging technologies to push creative boundaries.
• Collaborate across marketing, product, web and practice area teams to maintain a consistent creative vision.

Required profile

• 5+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in B2B, SaaS or technology brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern aesthetics across digital, print and motion.
• Ability to take briefs from marketing and product stakeholders and lead visual direction.
• Excellent communication and collaborative mindset.
• Comfort thriving in a fast‑growth environment with some ambiguity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
• Experience creating video and motion graphics.
• Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new design technologies, including AI tools.
