Virtual Data Centre Systems Administrator

About the role

Join Leidos Australia as a Virtual Data Centre Systems Administrator and play a key role in supporting mission‑critical programs within the Geospatial domain. Working on‑site in Canberra, you will contribute to the performance, reliability and security of complex virtualised environments that underpin important national capability outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments, ensuring availability and performance of critical systems, databases and applications.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support, investigating and resolving complex infrastructure and system issues across virtualised environments.
• Monitor, diagnose and remediate system incidents, working proactively to identify and address issues before they impact operational outcomes.
• Collaborate with customers, network administrators and multidisciplinary technical teams to deliver reliable services and support mission success.

Required profile

• Experienced systems administrator with a collaborative approach and commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and customer stakeholder groups.
• Australian citizen holding an NV2 Security Clearance and able to obtain and maintain a DISA/OSA clearance.
