Vice President, Commercial Logistics (Oceania)

About the role

DP world is seeking a Vice President to lead the commercial logistics business across Oceania. The role is responsible for shaping growth strategy, driving revenue and profitability, and expanding market presence for multiple logistics service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial strategy that delivers profitable revenue growth and market expansion across Oceania.
• Own P&L planning, ensuring revenue, margin and profitability targets are met.
• Identify new market opportunities, emerging logistics solutions and niche services.
• Lead sales pipeline development, strategic pursuits, contract negotiations and large‑scale acquisitions.
• Manage Business Development, Key Account, Solutioning, Tendering, Marketing and Commercial Excellence teams.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with key customers, partners, freight forwarders and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with regional and global leaders to align growth initiatives across the APAC network.
• Drive pricing strategy, portfolio optimisation and commercial excellence.
• Partner with operations and supply‑chain functions to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
• Mentor and inspire a high‑performing commercial leadership team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline; APICS or CSCP certification is advantageous.
• Extensive leadership experience in commercial logistics, freight forwarding or supply‑chain solutions with multi‑service offerings.
• Proven record of driving significant revenue growth, market expansion and commercial transformation.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management, pricing and margin optimisation.
• Deep understanding of logistics and supply‑chain solutions and ability to create value‑driven customer propositions.

Required skills

• Leadership in commercial logistics or related industrial sectors.
• Strategic sales leadership, tender management, RFQ/RFP handling and contract negotiation.
• Stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing across diverse cultures.
