Veterinary Director - Greencross Kawana Waters

About the role

Greencross is looking for a Veterinary Director for its Kawana Waters clinic on the Sunshine Coast, near Petbarn. The role suits an experienced veterinarian who enjoys guiding colleagues, sharing knowledge and taking the lead, and who wants to help set the clinical direction of the practice. Previous Veterinary Director experience is welcome, as is the prospect of an experienced vet stepping into leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Help set the clinical direction of the practice and create an environment where staff feel confident asking questions, discussing cases and building their skills.
• Mentor colleagues, especially those earlier in their careers, helping them approach difficult cases, develop their judgement and grow in confidence.
• Share knowledge and contribute to how the team works.

Required profile

• Experienced veterinarian with strong medical and/or surgical skills and sound clinical judgement.
• Interest in helping others succeed.
• Eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia is required.
