Vehicle Mechanic – Plant & Agricultural Training

About the role

We are seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to join a well‑established company offering specialist training on agricultural and heavy plant equipment. The role provides rapid progression to a team‑leader position within a year and includes comprehensive on‑the‑job training.

Key responsibilities

• Perform workshop‑based servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis on a variety of vehicles including cars, vans and minibuses.
• Carry out welding and repairs as required.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm with optional overtime and a 1‑in‑3 weekend roster.

Required profile

• Qualified Vehicle Mechanic or similar background, preferably from an apprenticeship.
• Willingness to develop skills in agricultural and heavy plant equipment.
• Commitment to a full‑time, on‑site role and flexibility for occasional overtime.

What we offer

• Salary £43,000‑£45,000 per year plus overtime (OTE up to £52,000).
