Veeam Solutions Architect

About the role

Ingram Micro is looking for a Veeam Solutions Architect who acts as the technical lead for the Veeam portfolio across reseller partners, internal sales teams and end customers. The role covers pre-sales leadership, solution architecture, partner enablement and vendor engagement, and positions modern cyber resilience, backup, disaster recovery, Microsoft 365 protection and cloud data protection solutions. Success is measured through revenue influence, partner activation, competency achievement and technical enablement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution design, architecture reviews, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts for Veeam solutions.
• Provide technical pre-sales support to progress and close opportunities in enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience.
• Develop and run partner enablement plans, workshops and training to support partner certifications, competencies and activation.
• Build relationships with partner technical and commercial stakeholders, Veeam and strategic alliance vendors.
• Collaborate with vendor and sales teams on joint business plans, go-to-market initiatives and growth opportunities.
• Develop reference architectures and technical collateral, and identify and qualify opportunities with sales teams.
• Maintain expertise across Veeam Data Platform, backup, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in solution architecture, technical pre-sales, infrastructure, cloud, data protection or a related technology role.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise backup, recovery and cyber resilience solutions; strong Veeam Data Platform expertise highly preferred.
• Experience working with technology partners, vendors, resellers or channel organisations.
• Strong consultative selling and technical pre-sales experience.
• Excellent presentation, workshop facilitation and communication skills, with strong commercial awareness and business planning capability.
