Valuations Manager

About the role

Pitcher Partners is looking for a Valuations Manager in Brisbane to manage its broader valuations engagements, delivering high-quality, independent and reliable valuations advice to clients. The manager uses their own valuation skills and technical knowledge, takes ownership of projects and builds a team by delegating work to peers. The role is based in the Brisbane, Queensland office and is not remote.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of valuation services, including Purchase Price Allocations (PPAs) / intangible asset valuations, convertible notes, employee equity valuations and impairment testing
• Analyse financial data in detail to ensure the accuracy of valuations
• Lead client management interviews and form a view on a client's business and equity value for discussion with the Director/Partner
• Prepare detailed analysis of comparable companies and transactions
• Write the business valuation report and give input into business development and process improvement
• Mentor, manage and support junior team members, reviewing their work and helping them progress their careers
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients

Required profile

• Australian citizenship or a current valid Australian work visa (evidence may be required)
• Ability to work from the Brisbane office
