Used Vehicle Sales Manager

About the role

Duttons Adelaide Hills is seeking an experienced, hands-on Used Vehicle Sales Manager to lead its used vehicle department. The role is not desk-bound: the manager sells, coaches and drives results while actively taking part in the sales process. The dealership recently acquired additional land next to its site, expanding its used vehicle footprint and offering strong growth potential.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly sales, gross profit, lead conversion, finance penetration and customer satisfaction KPIs.
• Take part in sales as a selling manager, manage incoming leads and drive daily sales activity such as appointments, customer contacts, demonstrations and follow-up.
• Hold daily sales meetings and performance reviews, and coach Sales Consultants through mentoring and deal support.
• Monitor CRM activity so lead management is followed consistently, and assist in closing deals and handling customer objections.
• Work with Finance and Insurance to maximise profitability, and manage stock levels, pricing and inventory performance.
• Foster a positive, accountable, high-performance team culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager or automotive sales leader.
• Proven success achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Ability to coach, mentor and motivate a sales team.
