Underground Truck Driver (FIFO)

About the role

Gold Fields is looking for an experienced Underground Truck Driver to haul ore and waste underground at its Granny Smith gold mine, reporting to the Supervisor Underground Production. The role is FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 day, 7/7 night rotating roster, and offers a permanent position with a strong team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Operate underground haul trucks safely and efficiently
• Transport ore and waste safely while meeting production targets and cycle times
• Carry out pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
• Work with underground crews and maintain high safety and housekeeping standards
• Attend all rostered days, arrive fit for work and on time

Required profile

• Underground truck driving experience in mining
• Valid WA C Class manual driver's licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at Heights card (or willingness to obtain them)
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and problem solving, and willingness to learn new roles
