Underground MPU Operator – FIFO Nightshift

About the role

Join Dyno’s underground operations team as an UG MPU Operator, working on a FIFO basis from Perth. You will operate underground MPU vehicles and manage the charging of explosives for both development and production blasting, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of high‑quality blast products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate UG MPU vehicles to transport and position blast equipment.
• Prepare and load blast holes, set up charging equipment, and handle explosives safely.
• Conduct pre‑start checks, weekly asset inspections, and assist with preventative maintenance.
• Support explosive‑related activities, including priming and stemming.
• Share knowledge with clients and crews, building strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Commitment to a safe, inclusive, high‑performance workplace.
• Willingness to work night‑shift rosters (8:6 FIFO schedule).
• Solid experience in underground charge‑up operations for development and production blasting.

Required skills

• HR licence – Manual Synchromesh.
• National Police Clearance.
• Dangerous Goods Security Card.
• Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence.
• Forklift Licence.
• RIIHAN301E – Operate Elevated Work Platform (EWP).
• RIIWHS204E – Work at heights safety certification.
