Ultrasound Applications Specialist – Point of Care

About the role

The NSW Ultrasound Applications Specialist provides technical and clinical support throughout the sales cycle for the Point of Care segment, covering pre‑sale demonstrations, post‑sale installations, training and ongoing customer assistance on GE’s VENUE and Vscan platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product demonstrations and clinical trial support to showcase features, capabilities and benefits.
• Coordinate and conduct training sessions on software, applications and equipment use for customers.
• Monitor installations, improve customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships across the assigned territory.
• Support trade shows and professional conferences with product demonstrations and customer training.
• Produce post‑training reports, provide feedback on customer needs and facilitate best‑practice sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Active professional clinical/technical certification allowing live patient scanning.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical or technical experience after certification, or at least 2 years of commercial application/modality experience with proven success in customer interactions.
• Willingness to travel extensively within NSW and attend nationwide meetings and trade shows.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and comply with GEHC quality and compliance standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hands‑on experience with ultrasound scanning on current GE platforms (VENUE, Vscan).
• Product demonstration and training delivery.
