Truck Driver - Port Hedland

About the role

InfraBuild Steel Centre is hiring a truck driver for its Port Hedland branch, reporting to the Branch Manager. The role is part of the InfraBuild business, which delivers steel and building products through a national network of branches. Standard hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver steel products safely to customers using a truck and, where applicable, a truck-mounted crane
• Load and unload materials, including operating a fixed vehicle loading crane
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at delivery sites
• Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently in line with company procedures
• Comply with Australian heavy vehicle, WHS and transport regulations, policies and procedures
• Assist with general warehouse operations as needed

Required profile

• Valid HR licence and some experience driving (essential)
• Forklift licence and Hyabb crane experience highly regarded
• Strong customer service skills and a safety-first mindset
• No prior steel or product knowledge required

• $41.46 per hour plus a $35,000 per year remote living allowance
