About the role
This position is for an experienced Truck Crane Operator with rigging capability to support lifting operations on the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project in New South Wales. The role operates on a 14‑days‑on / 7‑days‑off roster and is based near Mudgee, with bus transport provided from Sydney.
Key responsibilities
- Operate truck‑mounted cranes to lift and place materials and equipment.
- Perform rigging and dogging duties to support lifting operations.
- Conduct pre‑start checks and maintain crane equipment in line with safety standards.
- Safely sling loads and select appropriate lifting gear.
- Coordinate lifts with site crews, riggers and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with lift plans, site procedures and safety requirements.
- Assist with general site tasks as required.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating truck cranes in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Valid High Risk Work Licence (CN and/or C6/C1 depending on crane capacity).
- Rigging or dogging tickets.
- Willingness to work a 14‑days‑on / 7‑days‑off roster and travel to the site.
