About the role

Join Journey Beyond’s Travel Centre team in Adelaide and help guests create unforgettable holidays. The position is available on a full‑time or part‑time basis within a flexible 7‑day roster cycle. You will deliver a comprehensive travel experience service that exceeds guest expectations and sets the tone for their journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Learn about Journey Beyond’s diverse tourism products, booking systems and internal processes while being mentored by an experienced Travel Sales Consultant.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email and web‑chat, assisting guests in planning their holiday of a lifetime.
• Offer personalised product information and package solutions that match each guest’s needs and preferences.
• Develop expertise in the company’s travel offerings and become a trusted advisor for guests.

Required profile

• Passion for the tourism industry and enthusiasm for discussing travel experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage a high‑volume workload and maintain consistent service quality.
• Computer‑savvy and eager to learn new systems.
• Previous experience in a similar customer‑facing role and familiarity with reservation systems is desirable but not mandatory.
