Transport Supervisor

About the role

Centurion is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead daily transport operations at its Hazelmere Depot in Perth. This hands‑on leadership position runs Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm, and focuses on safe, efficient freight movement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of drivers and operational staff to meet safety, service and performance standards.
• Coordinate daily transport activities, including driver allocation, scheduling, equipment availability and departure times.
• Manage workforce planning, rostering, attendance, leave and ensure compliance with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility legislation.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers and receiving depots, escalating operational issues as needed.
• Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture and handle employee concerns in partnership with People & Capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising teams in transport or logistics environments.
• Strong planning, scheduling and workforce coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility requirements and freight manifesting processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with drivers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills
