Transport Planner

About the role

CSR is looking for an experienced Transport Operations Specialist to join its Coopers Plains site. In this fast‑paced position you will coordinate daily freight movements, optimise routes and ensure compliance with all transport regulations while supporting internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily transport schedules aligned with site and customer requirements.
• Allocate loads and delivery times to maximise efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Monitor operations throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed.
• Liaise with transport partners, customers and internal teams to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with CoR, fatigue management, load restraint, mass management and other regulations.
• Track performance, review daily results and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP TMS and support ongoing system and process enhancements.
• Provide proactive communication and problem‑solving support for operational issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport scheduling, logistics coordination or a similar operational role.
• Strong understanding of road transport operations and relevant compliance requirements.
• Solid knowledge of Queensland and Northern NSW geography.
• Excellent time‑management, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy and continuous improvement.
