Transport Coordinator

About the role

InfraBuild Reinforcing, part of a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and World Steel Association Sustainability Champion, is looking for a Transport Coordinator for its InfraBuild Reinforcing business. Reporting to the Transport Manager, the role ensures that daily transport and delivery operations across the WA sites are safe, compliant and efficient. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, communicates well and works with internal teams and external subcontractor drivers to deliver reliably on time.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure customer deliveries are dispatched fully, on time and in line with customer requirements
• Coordinate daily transport schedules, dispatch plans, freight bookings and transport capacity needs
• Optimise fleet utilisation, carrier performance, tonnes per load and overall efficiency
• Work with Planning, Production, Project Delivery, Customer Service, Sales and external freight providers
• Manage transport documentation accurately and scan delivery documents
• Carry out load restraint checks and coordinate the safe and efficient building of loads

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of logistics, transport and supply chain operations
• Experience in load restraint and load building is desirable
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn, with training provided
• Confident communicator via two-way radio and with drivers, transport teams and customers
• Professional, respectful and customer-focused approach
