Transmission Line Labourer – Renewable Energy Project

About the role

Join a pioneering renewable energy transmission project in New South Wales, supporting the construction of high‑voltage lines that will deliver gigawatts of clean power. This is a hands‑on labourer position on a 14‑days‑on/7‑days‑off roster, working in remote outdoor conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with erection and installation of transmission line structures and components.
• Support conductor stringing, sagging, and tensioning activities.
• Carry and handle materials such as poles, fittings, and hardware.
• Assist rigging crews, dogmen, and crane operators during lifting operations.
• Perform general civil and transmission line construction labour duties.
• Maintain strict adherence to site safety and environmental procedures.
• Work at heights and in remote conditions as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in civil construction or transmission line work (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to work in remote outdoor environments.
• Willingness to travel to the site from Sydney or arrange own transport if residing outside the provided bus route.

Required skills

• Construction White Card.
• Working at Heights ticket (preferred).
• Basic rigging or dogman ticket (desirable).
