Transaction Services Specialist - Financial Due Diligence Manager

About the role

PwC is hiring a Manager in its Deals Transaction Services team in Melbourne to lead financial due diligence on high-profile transactions. The role supports private equity, infrastructure and corporate clients in making confident investment decisions, working across industries and using emerging technologies and AI while coaching junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver commercially focused financial due diligence insights and high-quality reports for complex transactions.
• Lead detailed financial analysis across buy-side and sell-side engagements, uncovering value drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Build a deep understanding of client businesses and sectors to give actionable insights that accelerate deals.
• Use PwC's technologies, including AI, data analytics and automation, to improve the client experience and grow digital capabilities.
• Work with senior leaders and coach junior team members through on-the-job learning and feedback.

Required profile

• Experience in transaction services, assurance (e.g. external audit), corporate finance or valuations, with a strong grounding in financial analysis and reporting.
• Commercially sharp, with strong business acumen and an eye on market trends.
• Professionally qualified, ideally with an accounting or finance background (e.g. CA/CPA, CFA, Finsia, MBA, Masters in Finance).
• Integrity, empathy and strong interpersonal skills, able to build trusted long-term relationships.
