Transaction Services Manager / Senior Manager - Deals

About the role

PwC is hiring a Transaction Services Manager or Senior Manager for its Deals practice in Perth / Boorloo. The role brings financial due diligence expertise and leadership experience to guide buy-side and sell-side transaction decisions for private equity, resources, infrastructure and corporate clients. It sits within the Deals Transaction Services team, which delivers financial due diligence that turns analysis into clear, commercial advice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements across resources, energy, infrastructure, private equity and corporate markets
• Analyse financial performance, quality of earnings, cash flow, working capital, value drivers and key risks
• Deliver commercially focused insights and recommendations to boards, senior executives, investment committees and other stakeholders
• Build relationships with clients, advisers, private equity investors, corporates and management teams
• Use AI, data analytics and digital tools to improve analysis and delivery
• Manage engagement economics, scope, timelines and risk while maintaining high-quality deliverables
• Lead, coach and develop junior team members
• Work with PwC specialists to deliver integrated advice across the deals lifecycle
• Contribute to the growth and strategy of the Perth Transaction Services practice through business development, market activity and thought leadership

Required profile

• Strong experience in transaction services or financial due diligence; prior experience in external audit, corporate finance or valuations viewed favourably
• Experience with private equity, corporate, infrastructure or resources clients on complex transactions
• Ability to lead engagements and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant professional qualifications and/or a degree such as CA/CPA, CFA, FINSIA, MBA, Master of Finance or equivalent

• Financial analysis, including earnings sustainability, cash generation, working capital and transaction risks
• Communication of complex issues clearly and concisely
• Interest in applying AI, data analytics and emerging technologies to financial analysis
