Training Solutions Specialist II

About the role

The Training Solutions Specialist II works within the training team that provides specialist advice to develop end-to-end training solutions for Defence Forces and para-military organisations worldwide, using CAE's simulation technologies together with proven teaching methods. The role focuses on air and naval Rear Crew training, and defines the tactical element of training programmes that cover individual, team and collective training.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the tactical training solution delivers state-of-the-art, cost-effective training optimised to customer requirements across the full life cycle of the programme
• Integrate the full spectrum of training, from academic and simulation-based synthetic training to live-virtual-constructive (LVC) environments supporting complex mission rehearsal scenarios
• Work with CAE's global network of domain experts and industry partners to define the tactical element of training solutions

Required profile

• Hold or be able to obtain NV1 security clearance
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116 / 40122)
• Military Air Mission or Naval Rear Crew Graduate Certificate
• Minimum 4 years of experience developing and/or delivering training for air and naval Rear Crew roles (e.g. Sensor Operators, TACCO, Navigators, Weapon Systems Officers); 2+ years of training development or instructional design experience preferred
• Experience with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF)
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally up to 10% of the time
