Training Officer

About the role

If you enjoy hands‑on training, building relationships and seeing people succeed, this role lets you make a real difference within a large Australian beef business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging onboarding, refresher and skills‑based training across operational teams.
• Coordinate site inductions, competency assessments and training plans to support workforce capability and compliance.
• Maintain training records, matrices and LMS data, ensuring requirements remain current and audit‑ready.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Safety and People & Culture leaders to identify training needs and development opportunities.
• Develop and continuously improve training materials, Safe Work Instructions and learning processes.

Required profile

• Experience delivering training in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing or a similar operational environment.
• Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and competency‑based training.
• Experience maintaining training records, matrices and compliance documentation.
• Collaborative, proactive approach with ability to build relationships at all levels.

Required skills

• Use of a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Microsoft Office applications.
