About the role
AWLQ is seeking an enthusiastic Training Officer to design, deliver and manage induction, onboarding and workplace training across its South East Queensland sites. Working closely with the Training Coordinator and operational teams, you will ensure staff have the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform safely and effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate induction and ongoing training for new and existing employees at multiple locations.
- Conduct competency assessments and maintain training records.
- Collaborate with operational teams to deliver practical, on‑the‑job learning.
- Travel between AWLQ sites to provide consistent training experiences.
- Administer training schedules, resources and documentation.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering training or facilitating learning in a workplace environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to engage learners with varying experience levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.
