Training Coordinator

About the role

The Training Coordinator will join the Eva Copper Mine Alliance team to manage safety and training compliance across the site. This permanent, onsite position supports the development of a skilled workforce in a fast‑growing copper project.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all functional safety and training matters, maintaining records and reports.
• Manage course bookings, onsite training, inductions and the Learning Management System data.
• Lead a team of Training Specialists and Crew Trainers, ensuring competency compliance.
• Develop and maintain site training plans, including proficiency‑based and new‑to‑industry programs.
• Conduct training needs analysis and organise emergency response team training.

Required profile

• Experience managing large‑site training needs and competency compliance.
• Strong administrative abilities and high computer literacy.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Ability to map training packages to recognised competencies (e.g., RII packages).

Required skills

• Certificate IV Trainer Assessor.
• Proficiency with online training systems and Learning Management Systems.
• Knowledge of RII competency packages.
