Training Advisor - Mining

About the role

Evolution Mining is looking for a Training Advisor to shape the training, governance and compliance systems at Cowal Gold Operations, a gold mine in regional NSW. You will help keep training and competency systems effective, compliant and fit for purpose while supporting a safe and productive workforce. The role reports to the Senior Training Advisor and follows a 5:2/4:3 residential roster, though alternative arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement across training governance and competency systems
• Keep legislative, regulatory and company training requirements up to date
• Support and optimise training platforms such as INX/Quartex Intuition and learning management systems
• Improve the quality, accuracy and integrity of site training records and compliance processes
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders across the site to strengthen workforce capability and compliance outcomes
• Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement through effective training governance

Required profile

• Experience in training governance, compliance, learning systems or training coordination
• Sound understanding of compliance frameworks and WHS requirements
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Experience in mining, resources, heavy industry, governance or compliance is highly regarded

Required skills

• INX/Quartex Intuition, Moodle or similar learning management systems
• Articulate Rise or e-learning systems
