Trainer – Civil Construction

About the role

Join Up Education as a Trainer and Assessor for Civil Construction VET courses. You will deliver engaging instruction, assess practical and theoretical work, and support student success in a dynamic learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare course materials aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Conduct practical and theoretical assessments, provide feedback, and record student attendance and progress.
• Maintain accurate records, adhere to college policies, and contribute to meetings and OH&S matters.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Bachelor degree in civil or construction field (minimum qualification).
• At least 2 years experience in the civil construction industry.
• Understanding of diverse student needs and experience with international students.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Moodle learning management system.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
