About the role

Join the Transport Planning & Advisory team in Brisbane as a Traffic Engineer. You will work on a variety of traffic engineering projects, applying analysis, design and delivery skills to meet client expectations and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure analysis and design tasks comply with technical standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with team members, contributors and stakeholders to deliver quality project outcomes on time.
• Contribute to the commercial success of projects and support business development.
• Apply project management principles to achieve deliverables within scope, budget and schedule.
• Independently handle technical tasks across small‑profile projects.
• Monitor and manage scope and risk for multiple projects of varying size.
• Prepare technical reports and proposals for small projects.
• Utilise effective time‑management to plan workloads and meet deadlines.

Required profile

• Motivated engineering graduate with a tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Ability to work independently on technical tasks and manage project scope and risk.
• Strong written communication for preparing reports and proposals.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
