Traffic Control Crew - Inland Rail Corridor (Benalla)

About the role

KPI Traffic Control is hiring rail-ticketed crew for work on the Inland Rail corridor, with the Benalla region listed as a priority local-content catchment. The work is close to home, with shifts near the northern end of the line. Only people holding rail tickets can apply, and applicants must live locally in Benalla or the surrounding towns (Goorambat, Violet Town, Glenrowan, Winton, Baddaginnie).

Open positions

• Traffic Controllers and Team Leaders (current Victorian traffic ticket)
• Pod Truck Operators (VIC traffic ticket and HR licence)
• TMA Operators (VIC traffic ticket, HR licence and RIIRTM301E)

Required profile

• Current Victorian traffic ticket: RIIWHS205E, RIIWHS302E, RIISS00057, RIISS00058 or RIISS00059 (all valid until 1 February 2027)
• Rail: Metro Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card, SARC / SWIRC (TLIF0020), current or obtainable Category 3 rail medical; V/Line accreditation is desirable
• For Pod Truck and TMA operators: HR licence and current Australian driver's licence
• White Card and ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing; first aid (HLTAID011) desirable
