Traditional Direct Sales Representative - Life Insurance

About the role

TAL, a life insurer backed by Daiichi Life, is hiring a Traditional Direct Sales Representative in Melbourne. The role involves consultative conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored life insurance solutions, with an emphasis on an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospective customers through inbound and outbound sales opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable life insurance solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships through meaningful and empathetic conversations.
• Achieve sales, quality and compliance targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and manage sales activity effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture focused on customer success.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales, customer service or a contact centre environment.
• Proven ability to work towards targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in life insurance, financial services or a regulated environment is advantageous but not essential.
