Trades Assistant

About the role

Linde Material Handling is seeking a reliable Trades Assistant to support Service Technicians in repairing and servicing Linde and non‑Linde machines at a fixed site in Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues on forklifts and related equipment.
• Order spare parts via the Parts Portal and log jobs using the Linde Service App.
• Assist in workshop repairs and on‑site servicing of various forklift models under supervision.
• Liaise with Service Allocators to confirm daily job assignments and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain tools and perform any ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Mechanical background, preferably with experience on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive.
• Positive attitude, willingness to go the extra mile and support the Linde team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff.

Required skills

• Forklift repair and maintenance.
• Mechanical diagnostics of equipment.
• Use of service software (Linde Service App, Parts Portal).
