Field Service Technician – Queensland

About the role

Linde Material Handling, part of the global KION Group, is seeking motivated Field Service Technicians to join its Queensland team. You will work on a variety of forklift trucks and related equipment, providing on‑site service and ensuring safe, reliable operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues on advanced LSG equipment.
• Perform repairs, maintenance and diagnostics on forklifts of various sizes and models across multiple customer sites.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive job assignments, log work details and communicate with service allocators.
• Assist in workshop repairs and support fellow technicians as needed.
• Participate in an after‑hours on‑call roster in line with company policies and industrial agreements.

Required profile

• Mechanical background, preferably with experience on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive.
• Positive attitude, strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work independently on a defined customer patch and contribute to team goals.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with hydraulics systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatics systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair forklift mechanical and electronic components.
