Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver

About the role

Reece is hiring a Trade Counter Assistant / Delivery Driver for its Matraville Plumbing branch. You will help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and carry out other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly. No industry experience is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and give customers information about products
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Pick and pack orders and carry out stock control
• Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming branch environment
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Continue upskilling through tailored on-the-job training

Required profile

• Career potential and a growth mindset
• Previous customer service experience and enjoyment of helping people in person and by phone
• Able to pick orders accurately, maintain shop floor displays and give accurate information
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learning new systems
• Clean, valid driver's licence
• Valid forklift licence is ideal but not essential
