Tours Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tours Manager to lead our team in delivering unforgettable tours and experiences across Kakadu National Park, including the iconic Yellow Water Cruises. Based at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu, you will combine your passion for tourism with strong leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of storytellers and guides to deliver high-quality tours.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee all tour logistics, including scheduling, transportation and safety compliance.
• Develop new tour products and continuously improve existing experiences.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as park authorities, cultural centres and tourism partners.
• Monitor commercial performance, manage budgets and ensure tours meet quality and safety standards.

• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and understand emerging industry trends.
• Strong coaching, mentoring and team-development capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills.
• Business acumen with strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
• High personal integrity, entrepreneurial drive and flexibility to adapt to change.

Required skills

• Clean Light-Medium Rigid Driver’s Licence.
• H Endorsement for passenger vehicles.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
