About the role
Theatre Receptionist provides the first point of contact for patients, visitors, medical consultants and staff within the busy 31‑Theatre complex. Working full‑time or part‑time, you will deliver courteous, customer‑focused service both over the phone and in person, supporting the Peri‑operative Services team.
Key responsibilities
- Meet and greet patients and third‑parties in person and via phone.
- Maintain accurate department records and perform data‑entry tasks.
- Support daily clerical and administrative activities for the theatre department.
- Assist with basic financial tasks as directed by the Business Manager.
- Ensure enquiries are answered and resolved in a professional, customer‑centred manner.
Required profile
- Motivated self‑starter committed to providing a positive customer experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
- Strong time‑management and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and uphold Epworth’s values and behaviours.
Required skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
