Terminal Supervisor

About the role

As a Terminal Supervisor at Sydney Airport you will lead front‑line operations across the terminal and landside precincts. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers the chance to ensure a safe, secure and seamless experience for millions of passengers each year.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑ground operational response, maintaining safety, compliance and efficiency.
• Provide decisive leadership to operational staff and service providers during routine activities and critical incidents.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by fostering professionalism and responsiveness.
• Make timely, informed decisions during medical, security or emergency situations and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to maintain terminal presentation and service standards.
• Monitor day‑to‑day terminal operations, incident response and stakeholder management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in complex, fast‑paced operational environments, preferably within aviation or transport.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Commitment to safety, security and regulatory compliance.
