Telehealth Doctor – Western Australia

About the role

Alternaleaf is seeking AHPRA‑registered doctors to join its fully remote telehealth team serving patients across Western Australia. The role is ideal for clinicians who can work late afternoons and evenings, typically between 3 pm–9 pm WA time.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality 10‑minute virtual consultations across a broad range of presentations and age groups.
• Prescribe Schedule 4 and Schedule 8 medications in compliance with Western Australian regulations.
• Document assessments, prescriptions and follow‑up plans in a digital‑first environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and doctor‑support teams to streamline patient care.

Required profile

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Strong understanding of WA prescribing regulations, including Schedule 8 medications.
• Ability to manage 4–6 consults per hour while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, and medico‑legal obligations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with multiple digital health platforms and telehealth technology.
• Effective time‑management and documentation skills in a remote setting.
