Telehealth Doctor – Remote Medical Consultations

About the role

InstantScripts is seeking experienced doctors and general practitioners to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred telehealth consultations across Australia. This independent contractor position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining clinical standards backed by Wesfarmers Health and Board governance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations using InstantScripts’ secure platform.
• Deliver evidence‑based medical advice, diagnoses, and prescriptions in line with rigorous clinical standards.
• Document patient encounters accurately within the electronic health record system.
• Utilise AI‑driven tools to streamline note‑taking and access clinical knowledge resources.
• Collaborate with a network of peer doctors for clinical support and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum PGY4 experience, preferably in General Medicine, Emergency Medicine or General Practice.
• Right to work in Australia (no sponsorship).
• Availability to commit at least 7 rostered hours per week.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with digital health technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with My Health Records (electronic health record system).
• Experience using AI‑enabled medical note‑taking tools.
• Familiarity with two‑factor authentication and secure telehealth platforms.
