Telehealth Doctor (Remote, Australia)

About the role

Dociva is seeking AHPRA‑registered doctors to join its Australian telehealth platform on a contractor basis. The role is fully remote, allowing practitioners to provide medical certificate assessments and other telehealth services from anywhere in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient‑submitted applications for medical certificates and determine clinical suitability.
• Conduct video or phone consultations when required, especially for multi‑day certificate requests.
• Document clinical decisions in accordance with Dociva’s governance framework and policies.
• Support the expansion of services by providing general consultations, prescriptions, referrals, and other digital health interventions as the platform grows.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration with authority to practise medicine in Australia.
• Right to work in Australia and ability to deliver telehealth services from within the country.
• Strong clinical judgement, documentation standards and commitment to patient safety and privacy.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a private space for consultations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with secure online telehealth platforms and video‑consultation tools.
