About the role

InstantScripts is seeking experienced Doctors and General Practitioners to provide patient‑centred telehealth consultations across Australia. Working as an independent contractor, you will deliver high‑quality care from the comfort of your home while enjoying full control over your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations using InstantScripts’ secure telehealth platform.
• Provide evidence‑based medical advice and prescriptions in line with rigorous clinical standards.
• Utilise My Health Records and AI‑assisted note‑taking tools to document encounters efficiently.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality through two‑factor authentication and ISMS 27001‑accredited systems.
• Collaborate with a community of doctors for peer support and clinical guidance.

Required profile

• Australian work rights (no sponsorship).
• Current AHPRA registration without restrictions.
• Minimum PGY4 experience in General Medicine or General Practice.
• Availability for at least 7‑10 rostered hours per week.
• Residency in Australia and strong communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with My Health Records.
• Experience using AI‑driven medical note‑taking tools.
• Familiarity with secure telehealth platforms.
